Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 large Egg
  • 12 Garlic cloves
  • 1 cup Vegetable or Canola Oil (or any other neutral oil such as grapeseed or safflower oil)
  • 1.5 TBLS freshly squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 1 TSP Kosher Salt, to taste
  • Pinch of freshly cracked Black Pepper, to taste
  • 1 TSP Smoked Paprika (Hot or Sweet)
  • ½1 TSP ground Cayenne, to taste
  • 23 TSP your favorite hot sauce! (I used Bacon Hot Sauce)
  • ¼ TSP White Sugar (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine all the ingredients: To a jar or measuring cup that snuggly fits the head of your handheld immersion blender, add tthe egg, lemon juice, garlic, seasonings and spices, hot sauce, and finally the oil. Allow the mixture to settle for 20-30 seconds.
  2. Blend: Immerse the handheld blender all the way into the cup and blend on high speed. Slowly lift the head of the immersion blender as the mixture turns creamy, then remove it from the jar.
  3. Store: Transfer to an airtight jar or container with a lid (if you made it in a measuring cup) and store in the refrigerator. Use within 2 weeks.
