Cooling Cucumber & Mint Yogurt Dip

This creamy Cooling Cucumber & Mint Yogurt Dip is perfect for spicy finger foods and loaded with fresh herby flavors! It’s quick and easy to make, and tastes great in sandwiches, wraps, and on salads as a healthy dressing alternative!

Refreshing and cooling. That’s what this delicious Cooling Cucumber & Mint Yogurt Dip is.

Last week, I shared my mouthwatering and crowd pleasing Oven Grilled Chicken Tikka Drumettes recipe with you.

While they taste phenomenal and are ALWAYS a total hit on game days around here, they are a wee bit spicy! So to offset the heat from those delicious Chicken Tikka drumettes, I whipped up this Cooling Cucumber & Mint Yogurt Dip to serve alongside them!

This Cooling Cucumber & Mint Yogurt Dip is quick and easy to throw together at the last minute, and compliments the addictive Oven Grilled Chicken Tikka Drumettes really well.

But I totally see it working well with some baked chicken tenders, or maybe some spicy potato samosas too! And if you’re having some thick cut fries (my current guilty Friday night pleasure) and need a dipping sauce other than your typical ketchup, just add a dash of smoked paprika and some minced garlic. Maybe a sprinkle of ground cumin too! And you’ll have yourself a feisty party in your mouth. Mwaaaah!

FIVE REASONS WHY I LOVE THIS COOLING CUCUMBER & MINT YOGURT DIP:

  • It’s made with 5 ingredients only (excluding salt and pepper) and I always have them on hand. I’m betting that you probably do too!
  • It’s bursting with herby summer flavors thanks to some vibrant and fresh coriander and mint leaves.
  • It’s extremely versatile and can be eaten on its own as a refreshing afternoon snack, not just only as a dip.
  • It ALSO tastes great on a lot of other things (current favorite thing for lunch is a roasted chicken & fresh mixed veggies salad with a dollop or two of this creamy, slightly tangy, and healthy herbi-licious cool mess!)
  • It’s cooling and just puuuurr-fect for hot summer days. Especially those days when you feel like you’re just going to drop because of the heat. But you can make and eat it in the winter too with some hot and spicy food like these Spicy Lamb Sheesh Kebabs (coming soon!).

HOW TO MAKE COOLING CUCUMBER & MINT YOGURT DIP:

  1. In a medium bowl, mix together Greek yogurt, minced cucumber, chopped mint leaves, chopped coriander (cilantro), a bit of lemon juice for some tang, and salt and pepper to taste.
  2. And woohoo! You’re done!

Feel free to eat this dip, sauce, dressing, or however way you like. But the sky truly is the limit here!

Stay cool you all, and until next time. 🤗
